The period of time which you can devote to a job search will be heavily dependent on your financial situation. How much savings do you have to live on? Do you have a partner that can support you during your job search. If you do not have much time to conduct your job search, then you may find yourself in a position where you need to take any job available for now. this could include taking a job outside of your comfort zone.
